There were fierce fights, during this attack, Jim with Dr. Sahani manages to escape. And Dr. Faruqi survived in this attack. 

Latterly, Luthra tells everyone that Jim was a former RAW agent. Jim was declared dead a some years before. Jim's pregnant woman was killed by Somali terrorists. Due to spreading of virus in lab all scientist along with Nandini die in the lab. So angry Pathaan decide to catch Jim firstly. To avoid farther spread of virus, Pathaan destroyed entire lab by using explosion. Then Jim gives an claim to void Indian soldiers out of Kashmir within 24 hours. Pathaan interrogates Raafe about the position of the missile, and he comes to know that the missile is positioned in Afghanistan.
